I have a background as versatile as my photography. Inspired by my first Kodak Brownie (25 shillings and sixpence without the case!), I have moved on to mixing landscapes with portraiture and wildlife.
Having spent my formative years in the UK, I ventured out to the Far East in the early 1970’s travelling around the region gaining experience in all aspects of photography before returning to the UK in 1992 and settling in Manchester.
Working now almost exclusively in Digital Photography I concentrate mostly on Weddings, Portraiture, Commercial and editorial work and I am a regular contributor to various travel magazines.
I also undertake wildlife conservation projects, both in the UK and abroad, often at my own expense, to raise awareness and assist in obtaining funding and professional help where needed. These have included a trip to a forest monastery in Thailand, the home to 18 indo Chinese Tigers and a Safari in Africa, South Africa and Namibia.
I also repair old photographs and offer a professional slideshow presentation services.
