Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will head to Qatar on Monday on a state visit. In a statement, the Diwan of Royal Court said that the visit is in response to an invitation from Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar.

‘The visit will strengthen the strong relations between Oman and the State of Qatar. It confirms the keenness of the countries’ leaderships to advance bilateral ties to wider horizons at various levels.’
