Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued Royal Decree No 38/2023 on Wednesday appointing a Permanent Representative to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

Article 1 appoints Omar Said al Kathiri, Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, as a Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to UNWTO.

Article 2 says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazetteand enforced from its date of issue.
